I think it's more that people trust the coaches' and AP poll, Vegas oddsmakers
And ESPN college football experts more than some bitter BYU fan. I'm not saying that polls, Vegas, and ESPN are perfect, but those people do college football for a living. So I'm more apt to believe their assertion that Utah is a top 10 team and better than Michigan (who they beat 4 weeks ago), than the rantings of a cougarboard, (who doesn't even have agreement from fellow BYU fans).
