Before having parking passes, I usually parked here:
40.257192, -111.662469 (google maps help you find it).
It's $10, and about a 10-12 minute walk to the stadium. I think it's much better than Univeristy Parkway (which is free, but usually longer walk and harder to get out).
For eating, I prefer Mi Ranchito, Bangkok Thai, Terra Mia, JCWs, Burgers Supreme, and Joe's Cafe (breakfast, although open for lunch too). Burgers Supreme has good gyros.
