Kurtz flat out dropped an easy catch at the back of the end zone. He was open and sliding and kind of alligator armed. On a previous drive Matthews ran a post corner route near the right front pylon, and Mangum threw the ball after he made his break. Matthews was open but by the time the ball got there he was out of bounds. Mangum should have thrown the ball before Matthews made the break and had he done so put it on target, its another touchdown. BYU got 6 points on field goals on those drives. That is 8 more points left on the field.
