You're right. They've gone far, far better than planned.
I'll bet it was absolutely driving you bonkers at the beginning of the season when it was all BYU all the time. We're making more money, we're playing better teams, and we're on TV more than everyone but a handful of teams.
Independence is working much better than I expected. Yes, I'd love the stability and even more money of a P5 conference, but BYU is doing much better in independence that I'm betting anyone expected.
