So the Michigan game (POV of the national media)
was setup because:

1. Traveling to Nebraska and facing a storied program. Score one for BYU just for that feat. Add another TWO points, because of the BYU win ON NATIONAL TV. BYU was the talk of CFB for a solid week.

2. BYU plays BSU in LES. BSU, is a noted top tier G5 team, so beating BSU with another toss from Tanner Mangum ALSO a sealed win with the Pick 6 from Nacua, BYU is still the MOST talked about CFB for two weeks running and going into the UCLA game, this would be exciting.

3. BYU is winning the entire game against UCLA, up until the last minute. Missed opportunities again stopped BYU and BYU looses this game BY ONE POINT. IF anything besides the win, this is the BEST scenario for BYU going into the Michigan game.

4. Cue Michigan and the blood bath.

Now BYU soundly defeated UConn (their offense is just not good) and now the national media is in BYU corner. Why?

Because of a difficult SEP. IF Playing UP and winning will always leave a good taste in the mouth of national media. Now, I don't blame the BYU loss on BYU being tired. Coaches won't use that excuse. If anything, they were emotional spent against UCLA, which is NOW BYU biggest lost. BYU had that game WON...they blew it on TWO major issues.

IMO, for the national media echoing BYU schedule is AWESOME. BYU has to win out from here and that would ONLY solidify their schedule and capacity to WIN against a difficult SEP.

Finish OCT undefeated, then let's talk about Nov....but BYU in the national media mind is in a very good spot or POV.
