I think Michigan was just better than us. Meaning on your scale, we'd have had to put up an 8-10 and hope Michigan put up a 4-6 to hope for victory. I say that just because my sense from watching that game is that if we played them 10 times, I'm pretty certain that team would beat us well over 5 out of 10 times. I think it goes back to dominant line play. Their guys were just bigger/ stronger, and since we try to play that type of game now (but aren't quite as equipped for it), I think we would probably lose handily again. Now throw a Boise St. there, who is more likely to roll out a trick play, and I think bigger/ stronger becomes less important. Or throw out a team with less strength but more speed, and Michigan could be beat. Now, stack us up against Uconn, and hopefluly ECU, and we probably are bigger and stronger than many of those guys, so we'll look much better. Assuming we hand in a 5-10 on your scale.

I will hasten to add I think Utah's beating UM is respectable, but definitely helped by the fact that was week 1.
