Great analysis, but the same could be said of all the P5s
They all beat up on FCS and low level G5 teams in their OOC tune-up games.
The PAC-12 certainly didn't distinguish itself in early OOC match ups, losing most of the games against tough opponents. (A&M, Michigan State, Northwestern, Boise)
UCLA and Utah's OOC opponents were at least respectable.
I'm really not sure how different that is from the 'mighty' SEC though.
