BYU's all time leading scorer is gone and who is going to take his place. Fischer is streaky, Collinsworth is amazing but no matter the improvement he isn't making up for Haws. Austin is an offensive drag, I wish he wasn't coming back. Judging from Davis and Aytes previous stints they aren't exactly all stars, better than Austin flailing about but just very average players. Unless one of the rookies are going to step up and take over games BYU is in for a 2nd or 3rd place finish in the WCC and fighting for a Dayton play in spot of the NCAA tourney.

They certainly are not smashing Utah, I'll be surprised if BYU beats Utah in the next two years. We have some serious recruits coming up the pipeline that are very young/on missions, but this year's team will shock me if they are a top 25 team or if we win an NCAA tourney game. In the next 4-5 years it will not be surprising if we are very good, make a couple sweet sixteen appearances but for the next couple years I have no expectations.

Football on the other hand, after this year Utah doesn't have a Qb that can competes with Wilson for starting a starting job, that is saying something. I think we beat them next year, if I were a WR I would steer in direct opposite direction of the UofU.
