We aligned ourselves, within the Big 12, with Texas. But Texas is the team and program the rest of the B12 loves to hate right now. They are still the ONLY B12 school to schedule us, which is very telling. The rest of the B12 figures we're like little Texas wannabes and they don't want any part of that.

Plus with the changes over there at Texas, I don't know how much that decision to align with them has helped us even with them.

The Notre Dame thing was a complete screw job. We gave them two FREE home games and they gave us, uh, let's see, uh . . . That's right, nothing.

Basically we played and ran as if we were one of the big dogs, which did nothing whatsoever for us except tick off the rest of the B12 and get us 2 away games v Notre Dame without any realistic chance of a return game.

We should have been kissing up to everyone with a vote, but instead of being friends with all the kids in the B12 family, we chose to try to be the little wannabe henchman to the abusive stepfather they all hate. No wonder they don't want to invite us to their birthday party now that they're grown up.
