Our other issue with scheduling Big 12 teams is that they have gone to a 9 game conference schedule since BYU went Independent -- they have been getting rid of games from their schedules rather than adding them. This happened at the same time that BYU was needing games in the next few years. We might end up seeing some games in the next decade (2020 and beyond), though we do have the issues I mentioned in my post I'm responding to.
