Our family likes King of Tokyo or King of New York as a good board game that the kids can enjoy.

Also Ars Technica did a great article on board games to play during Thanksgiving. You'll find some new games on there that you might not have heard of. For example, I'm particularly interested in Codename, sounds like a lot of fun.
