An assistant is different then a head coach. Just because he has been there for 12 years, doesn't mean he calls the shots. An assistant does what the head coach dictates he doesn't institute his own policies. Even if he recruited Collette, it doesn't mean the relationship is solid. He committed to Stew Morrill not the current coach. Every player has assistants they like and once they don't like. I don't know if his reasons for transferring are genuine and I don't really care. The fact is he committed to the coach to try it out and at some point decided it was not what he wanted. Why force him to play it out?
