I think that threat is over blown. I am fine with the year penalty
I dont think schools should be able to force a kid to pay his own way during the year out of spite. USU has been doing this over and over and kids are still transferring. It is not a deterrent.
I think the year penalty should be axed if a coach leaves a program for another job. If the coach leaves a player should be able to find a new home if they want.
