and such and such adds to the past disappointments and fuels the desire to get rid of an above average to good to very good coach thinking that we are patently guaranteed to do no worse than 8-5 under an new coach with even a modicum of a resume.
I don't "love Bronco", I love anyone who suits up or dresses up on the sidelines and respresents BYU. Right now, that's Bronco, Anae, 2J, Halliday, et al and Bronson, Tanner, Taysom, Adam, Mitch, Devon, et al. I'm leery of getting rid of a good to very good coach having lived through a previous coaching change in football and several coaching changes in basketball and seen that new and different don't necessarily mean BYU starts off at the same level it was previously playing and only goes UP in results.
If BYU or Bronco decide it's time to change, then I will be fully supportive (with significant reservations about serious turncoats) of the next coach. Until then, our current results are more than satisfactory and I see more chances of regressing than of progressing with a change.
