LaVell ran an innovation of college football
And Bronco is NOT that. And BYU could run through 1000 Crowtons before finding someone like that who'd stay at BYU 10 years or more.
Before 1984, there were a number of BYU fans who sound just like the "Fire Bronco" crowd does now.
After 1984, it turned more into Fire the OC. And those idiots ran out Norm Chow.
I believe BYU's administration is smarter now than to listen to the small number of whiners who clearly do not understand BYU's inherent disadvantages in the world of College Football and where they fit in the pecking order.
And how far they are actually over-achieving.
