I doubt many deal in absolutes. I don't.
Could they fire Bronco and bring in the Mormon Nick Saban? It's possible. But it's very, very easy to look at the landscape...And history...And show the odds of that happening are very, very bad. It's a fools bet. It's going all in on an inside straight draw.
No one thinks it's truly impossible. But it's a very bad gamble. When college football royalty struggle to find a coach...with the entire talent pool to work with...And tons of money...It's presumptuous to think it's an easy thing for BYU. It's not. It would be a gamble...And not a smart gamble.
