game is different now
Lavell had one advantage going for him. The passing game in college football was still considered a quirky attack. Teams did not prep the same or run as complicated defenses. Technology is significantly different and so are the athletes. Lavell would be the first one to tell you that Bronco has done a great job considering the way the game is played now.
