I think its a toss up. However I think it is an advantageous matchup for BYU:
1. BYU will be its most healthy, and if they get the suspended LB back they can slow down Utah's offense.
2. Utah's defense is decent against the run (has gotten worse as the season has progressed) but their secondary can be exploited.
3. Tanner>Giraffe
4. BYU O>Utah's O
interestingly, I just looked up scoring defense and BYU and Utah are tied at 32nd.
total defense rankings
BYU 40th, Utah 46th
BYU scoring offense 39th...Utah's scoring offense 57th.
I'd say statistically BYU is the better team.
Vegas Odds would probably give Utah the edge.
Would be a good game.
