Roughly 70% of the top 20 HS players every year are eventually drafted in the NBA. There are a few anomalies like Jimmer that had a highly successful college career but couldn't make the NBA but they are the exception. Most 1 round picks are identified in HS. The best pro players don't have a jimmer like career because they are one and done.
