they realize no one east is all that great. when you're seriously thinking about memphis, who has been good for a grand total of 1.5 seasons, and UCF who went 0-12 this year you know something is wrong.

cinci is an ok add but really something you'd only consider because you added WVU, which you really aren't thrilled about anyway. it would be like ordering an expensive dessert at a disappointing restaurant after not liking your expensive dinner in hopes you'd feel better but you know you're only gonna feel worse after buying it.

they are "all-in" on their round-robin in hopes they never have to expand mostly because there aren't 2 teams that are slam-dunks. even BYU at this point isn't, again because of WVU.

they're gonna get a lot of political pressure to add UH i think, they'd be stupid to add UCF or memphis, which leaves BYU or cinci as the remaining choices.

i'm still with barry tramel...adding BYU/BSU is best football move for B12...i get the downsides of boise, but if you add us and BSU you have more than half your conf that could be ranked at any given time during the season. only P12 and SEC could potentially claim that.
