Parts of the issue, however, are controllable by Rose. We haven't recruited sufficient offense to the post until recently. Getting big stiffs we could develop into low lost options wasn't a problem during the Anderson/Reid years. Stylistically, our wide open attack doesn't always appear to match the talent we can bring to Provo (I.e. Phi slamma Jamma we are NOT).

Also, there are still sets you can run for the perimeter. Even if we don't go through the post, as Haddow suggests, we could take greater pains to produce better looks. Too much near-freelance for my liking. John is right in that you can give BYU fits by simply guarding the 3 point line.
