Honestly, I think for some his slow down and pound the ball game is frustrating
not because we dont like it but because we realize how much more effective it can be if he was a better/quicker/more willing passer out of it. The ball movement (i.e. the 3 man weave at the top of the key which is another story) comes to a halt and people stand around and watch while he backs down looking for the jump hook. If he was quicker to pass out and get the re-entry pass it creates more pressure on the defense and more spacing, for him and the shooters. As fans I think a lot recognize that and view it as a easy thing to fix that would improve the entire offense. (as opposed to say more accurate shooting which we recognize is hard)

So to me it isn't a dislike of him at all, quite the opposite for me, I love having an inside scorer. I just find myself wanting to yell at the tv to kick the ball back out and repost to get better matchups which seems an easy thing to do, thus the frustration.
