You're having a hard time differentiating
Chrysler making money from the program in general as opposed to making money off me individually. I'm sure they do make money off their warranty program, but they will not from me because
I intend on keeping the car for 20 years or so and will have the peace of mind knowing that I will never pay more than $100 for repairs (not including brake pads, wipers, tires, etc).

I've already recovered some of the cost when I had to get a chip replaced in the internal computer.

When the transmission and other big ticket items need to be replaced, my cost will be $100 and I am guaranteed to recover my initial investment and then some.

They make money off a lot of people because they get bored of their cars and sell them, or the warranty expires before major repairs are needed (as you pointed out above).
