I actually bought a 2015 Suburban on Saturday. No loan - paid cash
I've been looking for a replacement for my aging 2010 suburban for a while. I had settled on a 2015 (lightly used) Expedition EL. I had some very specific requirements (integrated trailer brake controller with heavy duty tow package) that I needed, so the cars I was finding that met my specs were not local (most were 150+ miles away). By the time I could make it there (on 3 different occasions), the cars sold. I ended up finding a Suburban locally with all the specs I was looking for. It was a few thousand dollars more than an Expedition, but I wasn't wasting time chasing it all over the country. It was also about $20K less than a new one.
