The Jazz have looked good the last 7 games, but are still only 1 game out of 9th place in a watered down West. During their run they have beaten two current playoff teams (Dallas at 6th in the West and the Bulls at 7th in the East), one at home and one on the road (Dallas lost that game more than Utah won it imo-if you have a 15 point lead you should win).
Now they are a top 3 team in the West if they add a guy who showed no offensive prowess whatsoever and is coming back from an injury? While anything certainly can happen, I would put serious money on the Jazz NOT being a top 3 Western team next year. Any takers?
