The first quarter of the Ute game had to do more with John Pease defensive
scheme than Tanner reading the defense. The Utes were better prepared that is not Tanners fault. You may need to watch more football if you don't think Tanner exceled at reading defenses as a FRESHMAN. Wait until he has a whole off season to be coached up.
