The seahawks slaughtered Arizona in Arizona. Yes the divisional round against Carolina was an unmitigated disaster. But you line them up again and I think the seahawks could pull it out. Just my opinion. There were some injuries and distractions for seattle. We were on fourth string running backs going into the game and then Marshawn Lynch coming off surgery and not playing one week and playing the next and the drama involved. They got down quickly and it got out of hand before they could turn it around and make it close. You add Thomas Rawls back in there or a healthy Marshawn...I think the outcome changes. Carolina only won by seven. The seahawks had them in the fourth quarter earlier in the year but blew it. Props to Carolina for a great year...but they caught Seattle at the right time. Seattle had just gone to Minnnesota in the freezing cold and barely pulled out a hard fought game. They were beat down and had a rough start to the season that squandered any chance of home games in the playoffs. I think Carolina was overrated. I think Cam Newton was starting to become overrated. Hes good but hes not a playoff qb yet. And don't tell me what would happen if Denver played Seattle in the superbowl. We know how that ends.
