No that wasn't it at all. He said he thought he had fewer distractions and was more able to focus. He figured it was more difficult as a single dude. I get that everyone always thinks the grass on the other side is greener, but this was the opinion of a friend that lived a little of both.
I don't claim one to be harder than the other. We all have different situations. I have 4 kids now, but I can see his point. Cougarbart makes a good point and shouldn't be discredited just because someone thinks differently. A married guy comes home from school and has his family. What he is going to do is already structured around his wife/family(stability). A single guy, not so much.
