I'm sorry but a defense that has to prepare for an offense that has a QB that can run and throw is really difficult. I love tanner but there were times where he needed to run or scramble but wouldn't. I like my chances with taysom every time. A running QB keeps the defense honest and is a great asset. Look at the one drive Carolina had in the super bowl where they scored a touchdown. How many times did cam pick up a 1st down with scrambling. Probably should have ran him more. Taysom may scramble more than he should but it's a tough offense to stop when a QB can throw to open receivers or take off and run and pick up 6 to 10 yards when they are not open. I hope taysom gives us one more year and tanner will wait to do his thing.
