2017 *could* work, but we have a pretty sweet schedule, I'd prefer 2018
Current 2017 schedule:
HOME- Utah, Wisconsin, Boise St., SJSU, UMass, and likely FCS payday game
AWAY - LSU (in Houston), Utah St., Mississippi St., ECU, Fresno St. UNLV, Hawaii
Game in Texas and games in 3 heavy BYU areas - California, Las Vegas, and Hawaii. Plus the game at ECU is better than you think. ECU gets 50K fans to games, more than many PAC 12 and other P5 programs.
2018's home schedule is fairly weak - Cal, Utah St., NIU, and Hawaii so far. Keep the Cal and Hawaii home games and the Wisconsin and Utah road games. Try to reschedule at Arizona and at Washington and cancel Utah St., at Boise St., NIU and at UMass.
For 2019 - keep Utah and USC home games and Washington St. road game, perhaps reschedule the Arizona road game here. Cancel at Toledo, at USU, Boise St., and at UMass. Reschedule the Washington home game (as part of rescheduling the '18 Washington road game).
2020 - keep Michigan St. and Missouri home games and Utah and Stanford road games. Cancel USU, at Boise St., and at NIU. Reschedule the ASU series.
2021 - Baylor game becomes a conference game. Keep Virginia home game, USC road game, and Arizona in Las Vegas. Need to schedule one more home game here - Utah would work well! Cancel at USF and Boise St.
2022 - Baylor home game is a conference game. Keep Stanford road game and add Utah road game as the series extends. Notre Dame home game would work well here! Cancel USF, Boise St., and Oregon games.
2023 - Keep Stanford home game, Virginia and USC road games. Cancel Boise St. Need one more home game - again Utah home game would work in series extension.
2024 - Start ASU or Washington series here, as a road game. Also, add Utah road game. Need two OOC home games - Notre Dame home game would work well here and perhaps have USU or Boise St. in this mix.
2025 - Keep both Stanford and Virginia home games and add Utah home game. Would then need one OOC road game - could start whichever ASU or Washington series wasn't started the previous year.
2026 - Keep Arizona home game and add ASU or Washington home game. Add Utah road game.
2027 - Keep Arizona road game and add ASU/Washington home game and Utah home game.
