Great point
I honestly did not know that he had that kind of speed. I have heard a lot about his size and great work ethic. The film I watched on him did not seem to indicate that kind of straight ahead speed or agility. So, I am pleasantly surprised.

Either way, I still stand by my comments that the best position for him is a DE in a 4-3 scheme. If he can get to 250 pounds at 6'4" and really is anywhere near the 4.6 area in the forty, he could be an absolute beast. That is where he might have next level talent as well.

Again, I am all for taking guys and putting them in the absolute best position for them in the long term. So my post was not supposed to be a knock on Huntsman at all; although reading it again, it does come off much more negative than I intended. I am very high on Huntsman and just want him put in the best position to succeed long term. I don't want him to become the next So'oto who had so much talent but wasn't put in his best position until his senior season.

So I still stand by my stance of putting somewhat smaller guys with speed in positions where they can add size but be above average on athleticism for the spot. Examples on this team, Akile Davis at CB not WR, Troy Warner at S not CB, Zayne Anderson at LB not S, MLP at TE not WR, Huntsman, Takitaki and Tautu at DE and Hinds at TE. For me those are some examples of guys who have next level size and athleticism at those positions if they develop. BUT, they NEED to play their best and natural position for a few years. While it was a couple of rough years in transition, I think Michael Davis is now on the NFL radar at CB in one of the rare examples of where Bronco stuck with a guy at his best long term position.
