I know having a winning program doesn't always get you into a P5 conference. (see Boise State). But there is no way BYU is in consideration if our program was in the state it was during the Crowton years. We'd be at the bottom of the totem pole. Regardless of your personal feelings towards Bronco, he ran a clean program with lots of wins over the years. This helped reestablish BYU's national brand as a Top 25 level football program. 11 straight bowl games, a handful of 10 win seasons, a handful of signature wins on national TV, etc have all been added to BYUs overall portfolio which has allowed us to be in the position we are.

If we get in I know bronco will be extremely happy for BYU. Hats off to him.
