I wish that real candidate cities wouldn't back out, that they'd push themselves

to the IOC, and push back on other cities that are bidding. Get some proper competition on the blasted venues, NOT on how much the city can kick back to the IOC's members.

Steps to improve IOC?

Step 1, to me, is to make the bidding process completely transparent. Publish everything.
