That is to try to establish two things, one that it isn't you making the prediction to give yourself an out and also to give it the appearance of credibility by claiming it is a high ranking BYU official that told you since we all know you aren't a high ranking BYU official, or for that matter connected to BYU in any manner.

Your posting history is very clear, we've all read it and whether or not I "like it" has no relevance to this. What is in question here is your credibility, and frankly that isn't even in question as your posting history tells us you don't have any credibility. When a person constantly and consistently posts negative opinion on a subject, for months straight I might add, and then claims to have "insider" info from "high ranking" sources that "confirm" his negative opinions, then the rest of us have good reason to believe it is a bunch of made up garbage.
