Hm. So I have to pay $$ to volunteer at school field trip
Awesome.
All I hear about is how desperate the school is for parent volunteers.
Well. Apparently to volunteer you need a background check now. I guess that's cool. But I need to pay $55 and miss an afternoon of work to be fingerprinted to get a background check just so I can walk around the dinosaur museum with 35 kids.
They don't make it easy for us to participate. Thanks, Alpine School District!
