I've been to a lot of games @ Utah in multiple sports.
Every time wearing byu apparel often sitting in non visitor sections. I've found one thing is necessary....dont take yourself too seriously and don't be an easy target. I always get along just fine with the fans there. I realize that I'm at someone else's stadium and it's an intense rivalry.

If you are the type of guy that complains about calls and never gives credit to the other team when your team plays poorly.... Then you deserve to be heckled or have people treat you crappy.

Your post is overly dramatic.

I had beer spilled on my brother and I (our feet) at a Utah game a few years ago. I saw it coming and it was accidental. My brother still tells everyone that ute fans poured beer on us and are evil.... But he knows deep down he's full of it.

I'm not saying ute fans are friendly.... There are definitely some bad ones. But understanding your surroundings and acting accordingly does wonders.
