having said all that i still always come back to a few things:

1. coaches stated the day they told us taysom was starter they were NOT going to RS him...so why not give him some reps?
2. taysom and tanner have handled this "competition" absolutely perfectly from day 1...why do we suspect anything would change?
3. giving tanner reps does not mean you're "benching" taysom. esp if you would've started early in the year with specific, pre-defined drives to avoid all this drama. i voted pre-season for at least first drive of second half plus garbage time (which there's been none).

had they done this we'd see way less "taysom/tanner" drama and a lot more heat on ty, OL and WR. now they've left it open to point finger at the most obvious culprit. oh, and by the way, if tanner's tearing it up and taysom is playing the way he is then, sadly, you do bench taysom and let tanner ride it out and let taysom become the change of pace, redzone hero his senior year.
