I'll believe it when I hear it from Boren or Bowlsby...FAR too much speculation
on Big 12 expansion. Having said that, it wouldn't surprise me if BYU is excluded on the basis of the school's LGBT policy. The world is moving on in this regard. Same-sex marriage is now legal in every US state. The NCAA just moved a bunch of events out of North Carolina because it considers the NC transgender laws repressive. In general, it's the direction our society is taking.
I'm still hopeful BYU gets in, but if they don't I won't be completely shocked.
