Ok everyone is taking this too literal. I would put money on it that they tried
to work with BYU on HC and didn't get anywhere. Big 12 probably told BYU it was having issues with the votes and things died. They probably didn't tel BYU they were out yet but it was obvious. The Ciny and Houston thing is likely just a good guess because if BYU is out - well it's down to Ciny and Houston.
