You yourself used the term "tired argument". Meaning it's been used too much. Problem is, it's a good argument for those who wish to believe it.

I get tired of hearing the same arguments from my kids about bedtime, phone use, Xbox, etc.

I got tired of hearing the same excuses from Bronco(even though I really like him) for losses.

I wasn't trying to insult. Just pointing out that sometimes we all get tired of hearing the same thing over and over again even when it makes sense to use the argument.
