I believe you 100% that it did not affect you at all. But don't you think it's possible that it could affect someone else differently? You admitted when you first stepped on the turf that it is very bright, and messed with your depth perception, and your first few steps felt funny. Obviously you adjusted quickly to it. There are other people who might not adjust as quickly to it, and it could affect them. My son also played on that turf and he said that he did have difficulty sometimes seeing a DB. He played QB, it could be different looking way down field from that position to not be as likely to see another DB with your peripheral vision.
I am definitely not arguing with you, and I respect the fact that you played on the turf, (I am also a Bengal fan, I've probably cheered for you as you played) I'm just stating that it could have a greater impact on some people than others, with their peripheral vision and depth perception.
People are different. My eyes are extremely light-sensitive and my wife laughs at me that I wear my sunglasses even in the evening. She gets car sick very easily if she even looks at her phone for a min in the car, but I never get car sick at all. It's possible that the blue turf can affect different people differently.
