Do you guys even remember the Michigan game? The Mizzou game? The SJSU game?
Tanner did really well vs. really bad defenses. He did ok vs. UCLA and Utah, but made mistakes that contributed to losses.
He played well against Uconn, Cincy, Fresno, ECU, Wagner, and USU. We have yet to face a team even close to as bad as those teams.
He was ok against a worse Boise team than we faced today.
He played meh against UCLA, SJSU, and Utah.
He was really bad against UM and Mizzou.
Look, I love Tanner. He's going to have a great career. Yet I don't want to put him in there yet... not with this OL and group of receivers under a new system. Taysom is struggling, but Tanner would be too.
