Just like cable-cutting/unbundling, if consumers aren't willing to pay for
content they don't want to watch, then I can see the networks doing the same thing and finding a way to avoid paying what amounts to a conference bundle just like cable - some really good channels/schools and some garbage that the networks (and consumers) really don't want (looking at you Iowa States of the P5). How they do this? You have to cause the conference to in-fight and implode. Just takes showing the Texas & OU's how much they're subsidizing the "dingleberry schools" as one writer put it. Ask USC & UCLA how happy they are with the PAC12 revenue situation.
