I'm a mature enough adult to not feel that everyone that disagrees with me is "tearing me down". I'm confident our coaches are too. Maybe you should consider developing that same maturity.

We can all learn something from listening to those who disagree with us. That's much healthier than pretending that everyone that disagrees with us is "tearing us down".
