My HCBH was in same district at MTC with a Stevenette in 80's. They would meet his family at a certain back gate
around bedtime and they'd pass over a huge bucket of ice cream for all the missionaries to share. Good times!
Seems there are a lot of good restaurants that are student favorites. Hard to pick just one-- Slab pizza, J-dawgs, cupbop, Creamery, then all the ones downtown. Great ice cream shop downtown on University.
