He just left when he was trying to play pro football. I obviously don't know what the reasons are, I'm just surmising, but knowing how BYU functions I have my doubts it is trades that are keeping him out. He isn't LDS so it's not like he has to be doing anything wrong, at least from a non members viewpoint, to be honor code ineligible. Living with a girlfriend, drinking, would both do it, so would any amount of other things most non LDS people would ever think twice about.

It just seems the most likely reason.

But I suppose it could be grades also, maybe even both, BYU is a tough place to get into, we all know that.
