competition, a slightly better TV deal and bowl tie ins and an opportunity for BYU to get exposure outside of the west. I think if you added BYU & BSU to the AAC, that is a fairly decent football conference competition wise and it would be an excellent basketball conference.

Don't get me wrong, I am not advocating a move to the AAC, but I could get behind it if they created a west division that included: BYU, BSU, Houston, Memphis or Cincinnati, SMU, Tulsa, Tulane. Then have 3 cross over games every year with Navy, Temple, E. Carolina, USF, etc....
