Precisely. MWC teams play for the *chance* at a big time P5 opponent.
SDSU is playing Houston; Wyoming is playing us; Boise St. is playing Baylor (6-6).
We played:
UCLA
Utah
Arizona
West Virginia
Michigan St.
Mississippi St.
So, we played SIX P5 opponents similar to or better than Baylor and TWO neutral-site P5 opponents in bowl type atmospheres.
I'll take BYU's schedule and bowl matchup 100 times out of 100 over a MWC schedule and the *hope* for the MWC's best bowl game.
