most professional athletes would fit that description, but I was talking specifically about Steve Young's type, ones with speed, quickness, vision, arm strength, and the ability to throw the ball accurately and with touch. That's a rare skill set and not every physical freak has all of those things.

Good case in point is a couple of kids I've coached all their years growing up. One is my son who is currently a HS QB and DB, the other is a WR and DB, the other kids dad played college football at BYU and was a safety and when he signed with BYU in the 80's was the number one recruit in the state. His son is much like him, tall and lanky but very, very fast and very quick with great hands and excellent leaping ability, but he only has a so/so arm, so he has never played QB, he doesn't throw well enough. He could play qb in the manner Taysom play's it, and get by because he is such a great athlete, but he couldn't play it in the manner Steve young did because he doesn't throw well enough.

My boy on the other hand shares those same athletic abilities as the other kid but on top of that he has a very strong arm and is accurate and has good touch. His skill set is just more rare.
