Most fans of other teams experience a prayer being said at the beginning of a game almost never. It is not something they expect and unless they are really paying attention it is easy to see how they could step on that event. Especially since we allow them seats in the rafters where you almost need binoculars to see whats going on.

Thankfully most on both sides of this rivalry go out of their way to show class and build respect. It's too bad that the few who want to exaggerate the perceived hate somehow always have a bigger voice.
